Listen to the full episode: How to Let Go of a Toxic Relationship
If you are listening to part two of this podcast, I assume you've already listened to part one on Why You Should Let Go of A Toxic Relationship; and If you haven't listened to part one as yet, I would start there first, then return to part two from this mini series on why it's important to acknowledge that you are in fact in a toxic relationship.
In part two of today's podcast, I delve a little deeper into my personal experiences of being in a toxic relationship with a covert narcissist and I also share with you a few words of advice for you to consider as you decide for yourself whether you are in fact in a toxic relationship and if you are, what you should be considering as you start the process of letting go of that relationship?
Part two of this podcast is a condensed overview from my article How to Let Go of a Toxic Relationship - Important Things to Consider.
In part two of today's message of inspiration and hope,
I delve into the topics of:
- What are the consequences of staying in a toxic relationship?
- Do you have boundaries and why they are important?
- Implementing the practice of going no-contact. It's more difficult in practice than reading about it.

Finding the Strength to Let Go of a Toxic Relationship
Right now, you probably feel as though you are on an emotional roller-coaster. Dating and eventually breaking up from a toxic individual, in my case a covert narcissist, will make you feel as though you are going crazy.
One of the most important things for you to remember on your journey of healing after experiencing a toxic relationship is not to give up on yourself or doubt the progress you have made thus far. There will be days you won't want to get out of bed, or show up for work, but it's in those moments when you must find the courage to keep moving forward until you have built up enough confidence and self-esteem to let go this toxic relationship and your ex and embark on a new chapter in your life - one that is toxic free.
To support you in this phase of your recovery and self-healing journey, I've created a FREE Emotional Detox Guide to help you begin the initial stages of emotionally detoxing from this relationship and your toxic ex-partner.
I've also created two guided morning and evening meditations for you to listen to, as you work through the Emotional Detox Guide and implement each of the guided tips I've provided for you.
